My name is Alexandra DeFaria. I have a small floral studio in my backyard in La Cañada Flintridge, California. La Cañada is nestled at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains at the northern most edge of Los Angeles. My husband and I have raised three wonderful children and it was time to turn my sights to a new chapter. One that involved my love of plants, flowers, gardening and design.

 

My lifelong love of plants, flowers, and vegetable gardening began when I was just a wee one, planting seeds and watching them grow with my trusty trowel. Combined with my professional work in graphic design and printing from years past, this seemed like a good marriage. I graduated from Flower School NY in 2018. Since then, I have created flowers for several weddings, private parties and more. I continue my education through workshops and freelance work with Los Angeles area florists.
